Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Chrome extension "X Bookmarks Archive" (the "Extension"), the website shelf.zimolab.org, and purchases of Pro. The Extension is developed and operated by Zhang Yu, an individual ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Extension or buying Pro, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

X Bookmarks Archive is a Chrome extension that saves your own X (Twitter) bookmarks and likes into your local browser, so you can search, filter, organize and export them offline.

Free: sync bookmarks and likes, search and filters, manual tags, JSON backup and restore.
Pro: AI organize (with your own DeepSeek or Claude API key), export to Obsidian / Markdown / CSV, separate archives for multiple X accounts, and future Pro features.

Pro is digital content, delivered as an activation code immediately after payment. The Extension is not affiliated with X Corp. or Google.

2. Pricing and payment

Pro is a one-time purchase of a personal license. It is not a subscription and never renews automatically; you will not be charged again.
Current price: CNY 29 via WeChat Pay; for card payments via Waffo, the price and currency shown at checkout apply. All prices are shown on the purchase page before you pay.
Payment providers:
- Waffo Pancake acts as Merchant of Record for card and other payments, and collects and remits applicable taxes. Card details are processed by Waffo and are never available to us.
- Z-Pay / WeChat Pay for WeChat payments.
Where required by law, taxes such as VAT or sales tax are calculated and shown at checkout.

3. License scope

One purchase grants one person a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use Pro in Chrome browsers they control. Do not share, resell or publish your activation code.
One code can be active on up to 3 Chrome profiles at a time. Reinstalling on the same synced Chrome profile reuses its slot.
Removing the code in the Extension frees that profile's slot immediately; a profile that has not verified online for 45 days frees its slot automatically.
The license does not expire and covers Pro features and future updates.

4. Activation

Activating Pro, and re-verifying about every 7 days, sends the activation code, a random device id and the device type (e.g. "Mac · Chrome") to our server, only to count slots. No bookmarks, likes or X account data are sent. Pro keeps working offline until it can verify again.

5. Recovering your code

WeChat Pay: enter the merchant order number from your WeChat Pay bill on the purchase page.
Waffo: the code is emailed to the address you entered at checkout; you can also email us with your order number.

6. Refund policy

7-day money-back guarantee: within 7 days of your first Pro purchase you can request a full refund, no reason needed.
Duplicate payments: if you bought the same license more than once, the extra orders are refunded in full at any time.
Cannot activate: if a problem on our side prevents activation and is not fixed within 7 days of your report, you get a full refund.
Statutory rights: any additional withdrawal or refund rights you have under local law (e.g. EU/UK consumer rights) are not affected.

How to request: email 86168@88.com with your order number (the merchant order number for WeChat Pay, or the order number in your Waffo receipt). We reply within 2 business days, and eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

A refunded activation code stops working immediately. Orders older than 7 days that do not fall under the cases above are not refundable.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

use the Extension for unlawful purposes or to access content you are not authorized to access;
share, resell or publish activation codes, or circumvent activation or slot limits;
crack, reverse engineer or tamper with license verification;
use the Extension to scrape other people's data at scale or in violation of X's terms.

8. User breach and termination

If you breach Section 3 (License scope) or Section 7 (Acceptable use), for example by sharing, reselling or publishing an activation code, circumventing activation or slot limits, or using the Extension for unlawful purposes, we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on severity:

Warning: notify you by email to stop, with a reasonable period to correct the issue;
Suspension: temporarily disable Pro for the affected code until the breach is corrected;
Code revocation: permanently deactivate the affected code and remove all of its device activations; revoked codes are not refunded;
Termination: stop providing Pro to you and refuse future purchases;
Legal action: pursue remedies for unlawful conduct or damage caused to us or third parties, and cooperate with authorities where required by law.

Codes tied to fraudulent payments or chargeback abuse may be deactivated immediately. We will tell you the reason by email unless the law prohibits it. If you believe we made a mistake, email us within 14 days of the notice and we will review and reply within 7 business days.

In addition:

If we stop providing Pro for reasons other than your breach, we will refund you under Section 6.
You may stop using and uninstall the Extension at any time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Extension is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted, or that X, Chrome or third-party AI services will stay compatible or available. Changes to X or browser policies may affect some features; we will try to ship compatibility updates.
Your bookmarks and likes are stored in your own browser. Please back up regularly with the export feature. We are not responsible for data lost because browser data was cleared or a device failed.
AI organize is performed by the third-party AI service you choose (DeepSeek or Anthropic); any fees and outputs are between you and that provider.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for Pro.
